North Country Cheviot Sheep Society

Great Yorkshire Show 2022

The Great Yorkshire Show returned bathed in sunshine for the North Country Cheviot judging held on Wednesday 13th July 2022, with the largest entry of Northies ever seen at the show, the judge Mr Jock Muirhead, had his work cut out from the start but was consistent with his selection.

With over 100 sheep entered, classes were strong, with quality throughout & looking along the lines of exhibitors, its looking like a strong future for the breed here, with many new & younger breeders showing.
