Dingwall Park Sale Report 2025

Dingwall Park Type Show & Sale – Saturday 27th September 2025

The Annual Show and Sale of Park Type North Country Cheviots took place at Dingwall & Highland Marts on Saturday 27th September 2025.

Judging was carried out by Sarah Balfour, Craigbank, who awarded the Champion to a standout tup from GRG McCallum, Belmaduthy. The Champion, Belmaduthy Fizzer, sired by Synton BMW and out of a homebred ewe by Wandylaw Venture, went on to make the top price of the day at £1,400. The same home also realised £1,200 for their third-placed tup.

Reserve Champion was awarded to the Longoe flock of the Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust with Longoe Faithful, sired by Biggins Bill and out of a homebred ewe by Durran Xizang, which sold for £1,300.

There was 100% clearance of a slightly larger entry compared to the previous year.
