Royal Highland Show 2025

This year's Royal Highland Show was dominated by the Caithness breeders who had made the trip south to attend, taking the Championship place in both the Park and Hill sections on the day.

Receiving the top honours in the Park section was well-known Royal Highland Show exhibitor and a regular in the tickets, Jonnie Campbell of the Bardnaclavan flock - his homebred gimmer sired by Soutra Cannonball caught the eye of Borders judge, Roderick Runciman, Allanshaws.
Later, in the Hill judging, with another Border's man judging, this time Pete Tweedie, Buchtrig, another homebred gimmer from Andrew Campbell of Mill House was tapped out for the top position, she was sired by Mill House Courageous.
