Caithness Ram Sale Report

With a tremendous entry of more than 40 sheep forward in the pre-sale show, judges Mr Steven Turnbull of Jethart & Mr Gareth Hughes of Glan-Ithon had a difficult job & took their time in picking the champion from the Sebay pen of J S Baillie & Co, Lot 71 Reaster Warlord, a shearling ram by Allanshaws Tornadeo later sold for £1200.Standing reserve was Lot 8 Jacqueline Biggins Well-Bred by Biggins Topnotch & out of a ewe by Bardnaclavan Champion, this ram sold for a new sale centre record & top price on the day of £7500 to A Sandle, Spring Bank.
